Just bought myself a shiny new Wacom Bamboo from Aldi! (Of all the places in the world, who'da thunk?) Was pretty cheap and my old tablet is pretty shitty! It's so shiny and pretty <3 I can't wait to use it! <(^o^)>

I've recently converted one of my new college friends into a complete nerd! (yay) Not only have I bombarded her with books to read, I've introduced her to manga and the wonders of anime. While there is still some way to go she has now watched nearly all of the ghibli films! Unfortunately she prefers dub to sub (argh), but I will work on that!

Anyway, she said the other day that she would love to go to a convention with me!!! <(^ o^)> woopa! This got me super excited and I'm already choosing characters for us to cosplay as. But then I checked out the MCM Expo site and realised that the next local con isn't til Feb of next year!!!! (NUUUUU) Damn England for not being as con happy as America!!! *shakes fist* There is one in London in October, but London means train tickets and battling London. Although a London Expo would be amazing. Plus I'm pretty sure I can't make three (I'm the only one out of the three of us that are going that can sew) cosplay for then. >.> (I was hoping for a November Expo)

But on the bright side it does give a while to make the cosplay to a high standard and it also means I can save any Christmas money I will receive/ earn and spend it all on merchandise!!! Not all bad in the end (will still hurt to wait *sniff*)

Wanna draw me some good manga, as I haven't done that in a while <(> 3 <> But feeling the block *cry* Summer holidays are such a drag! Need to draw to pass the time, yet the drawing does not come to me <(o . o)> It hurts

I also want to go on holiday!!! <(T o T)> As a midlander, I have the urge to see the sea! I must drive there, but lack company *cry more*

Mini rant over

Chaos of college has ended and while I'm not a big Journal-nut, I haven't made a new entry since the February snow...

So yes, college has come to an end, and has left me with much spare time which I seem to be filling well with sleep, WoW and reading of crappy teenage vamp books. (I really am that sad D Hopefully all that will pass and some art may come about during the endless weeks of holiday-less nothingness!!!! (I'm poor and the euro is expensive! (But I do have a tent and a back garden!))

Lets see if I can once more get my creative juices flowing as my uploading rate has plummeted drastically over the last year! D:

I am a snow lover. It's great, although I do understand what a pain it is. I did actually want to go to college today. hehe

It also highlights just how rubbish England is. We're such a pathetic country. I'm totally migrating the moment I get the chance. >.> <.<

Anyway, yay. Bring on the snow! I wants more snowmen and stuff. ^o^

(although all my friends are at uni and all the others left where I am are boring or too far away. ToT No one to play with. *humph* *sniff* )
